Breast Imaging

Beth Kleiner M.D.

Dr. Beth Kleiner has been in private practice in radiology on the San Francisco Peninsula since 1986. She completed a fellowship in computed tomography and ultrasonography in 1985 at the University of California San Francisco and completed a second fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging in 1986. She took her radiology residency at Stanford University Medical Center and was Board certified in diagnostic radiology in 1984. Prior to that, she completed a pediatric internship at the University of California Diego in 1981.

Dr. Kleiner grew up in Denver, Colorado. She received a B.Sc. degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1976 and her M.D. from the University of Colorado Medical Center in 1980.

Dr. Kleiner has been on the clinical faculty of the University of California San Francisco since the completion of her fellowship. She serves as a consultative sonologist for the Prenatal Diagnostic Center satellite of the University of California San Francisco. She is author of many scientific publications in radiology and genetics.

Breast Imaging

Denise Wise M.D.

Denise Wise, MD, graduated from Mount Marty College and received her medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center in 1996. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in 2000. Baylor is a large tertiary care center serving north Texas, that includes a comprehensive cancer center, women’s center, and transplant program. After residency, Dr. Wise continued her training through a one-year fellowship at the Susan G. Komen Breast Center in Dallas, Texas where she specialized in breast imaging.

Dr. Wise moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and was the Medical Director of the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center. Five years later, she relocated back to Texas to work at a specialty breast center in Fort Worth. During her tenure there, she was the moderator for the weekly Breast Cancer Conference at Harris Methodist Hospital and served on the Cancer Care Committee as the radiology expert.

Dr. Wise is an advocate of women’s imaging and breast health and actively speaks to women’s groups regarding breast cancer awareness. Her professional focus includes breast cancer detection, diagnosis, biopsy, and community education. She is currently the Breast Center Director at Peninsula Diagnostic Imaging and participates on the tumor board at Sutter Health in San Mateo. Outside of radiology, Dr. Wise’s interests include world travel, spending time with her family, photography, oil painting, and jewelry design.
